Willow is almost 5 years and such a sweet big girl. She is a tabby and white, short haired domestic cat. Her front paws are declawed. Initially, she came into my foster care, as she was having a difficult time adjusting to the environment at the Humane Society. I am happy to report that after being in a home setting, this issue has been resolved.
Since she is a large cat, her diet has to be monitored. Presently, she is on a special diet to prevent urinary infections. The veterinarian recommends "Royal Canin" Multi Function Urinary So Calm, Veterinary Diet. She can also have a small portion of moist "Hills Prescription Diet" Gastrointestinal Biome daily, mixed with one scoop of "Welactin" Omega-3 supplement. These dietary needs may be subject to change, when adoption is imminent.
I believe Willow would be well suited to one person, or a couple who have no other pets. She tends to like her own space and loves to hide under furniture. That is not to say she doesn't like to be pampered. More and more she is adapting to being handled. Now, cuddles and smooches are part of her daily life. She also enjoys being groomed and just laying next to you, ready to kick-start her purr motor. I'm not sure about her music taste, but Country & Western appears to be tolerated well! Given time, she will be rather talkative, with tales of all the great adventures she has had to date.
Willow would make a wonderful companion to whoever gives her a chance. This lovely big girl is looking for an ever-lasting home now. Interested? Please call The Humane Society Tel: 509-467-5235 ext 215
