Description

Honey is a lovely girl. She might seem a little aloof at your first meeting but she is actually a VERY sweet, affectionate, attentive cat. Her family said she could be 'standoffish' with other cats but we've found that the longer she is here the better she does with the other cats. As long as they are calm and respectful, and don't crowd her, she does surprisingly well with them. She will go out of her way to avoid confrontation and possible negative situations. She's a lover, not a fighter. She is extremely NICE. She is on a serious diet for her health and she has already lost a bit of weight in the short time she's been here. She doesn't seem to mind the imposed restrictions but is always happy for her meal to be delivered. She must stay on a healthy diet until she looses a few more pounds. It will extend her life and improve her health, mood and energy level. Honey has her adorable side as well. She LOVES to sprawl out on her oversized cushion bed like the Queen she is, and when she wants to be released she will throw herself down on the bed, roll onto her back and squeak at you. Wobbles her head, stares at you and makes the request for freedom. She always makes that bed look so comfortable and enticing. Maybe when she gets home and settles into her queen sized bed, she'll allow you to share it with her. Or maybe just invest in that super big king sized, soft pillow that she doesn't have to share with anyone else. She is a cuddler and you'll probably have a new companion when you go to bed at night. She is quite playful when the mood hits her but she does tire quickly because of her weight. Don't let her over exert herself. The laser light is a favorite.
