Milla is actually a very affectionate girl if you give her the chance to get to know you and feel safe in her surroundings. She was very stressed in her previous home because of other cats AND dogs in the home. She absolutely prefers to be the only pet in her new home, where she can relax and set up her new territory to her specifications! She is stressed by other cats here at the shelter as well which is understandable, and when she is stressed she may seem a little grumpy and unsocial but she is truly a sweet girl. You just need to understand her personality and needs and to work with her. She was in her previous home for 7 years so this is all huge change for her and I'm sure you understand how it might take some time to settle in. She is absolutely worth the investment of your time and patience. She just wants a safe, quite, easy going home. She'll make a wonderful companion for someone just like her. Please come in and meet Milla and be open to someone who might not be exactly what you envisioned when you decided to adopt a new friend. She is talkative around people she knows but it is a soft, sweet little voice. I'll let her know you're coming in to say hello…….
