Blondie came in with her brother, Shadow, and they will need to go home together as they are very closely bonded. Being here at the shelter is very stressful for Blondie so far but she is relaxing a bit and really opening up. She has been a little talkative this first week but is less so each day. She and Shadow are going to need someone patient, calm and gentle to help them feel safe and allow them to show their true personalities. They have so much potential. According to their owner, they do NOT like dogs so they need to go to a dog free home. Blondie still has a habit of bolting out of her unit when the door is opened but she doesn't hide like she used to now when she gets out and she can be coaxed out to come and visit quietly with you. She is a big girl, just like her brother Shadow, and she could do with just a little bit of a diet so things don't get out of control…..they are only 4.5 years old so they have long and adventurous lives ahead of them. They both seem like they are going to be affectionate and sweet cats. Just be a little patient with them and you will see their potential.
