Shiva is a fabulous cat! When her foster parent first took her home, she was so timid, but soon became the most lovey and warm kitty her foster mom has ever seen! Shiva loves to cuddle and has claimed her foster mom's bed as her own. Shiva tolerates other animals; her foster mom has dogs, cats, kittens, bunnies and pigs! Shiva doesn't seem to mind any of them. That said, Shiva would most likely be happiest in a much less chaotic environment, as when there is a lot going on she has a tendency to disappear and hide. When things are mellow, she comes out and is all about the love. Shiva would most likely not do well with children given her more solitary disposition. She isn't the biggest fan of being picked up, either. One day, when her foster mom wasn't feeling well, Shiva followed her around all day just to lay on her chest everywhere her foster mom went. "I am 100% convinced that she was trying to make me feel better," her foster mom said.
Shiva has a tendency to bite her lips and has a resting cranky face, so always looks a little annoyed, which is definitely one of her charm points. Shiva LOVES the laser pointer and will run for it for hours. She's a talker and will tell you she's hungry, or you've offended her, or you just need to look at her for a second.
Shiva is currently in a foster home. If you are interested in her, please contact the Foster Coordinator, Axton, via email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
