Description

Tuna is an unusual girl. She is very confident, pretty independent and likes to have things go her way! If you didn't know she was a girl you'd probably think you had a confident boy on your hands. She can be very talkative and vocal in different ways depending on what she wants, or depending on her mood. You'll know what we mean when we say that after you meet her. She is NOT a fan of other animals so needs to go to a home where she is the one and only. Judging by her behavior, we think she was probably an indoor/outdoor cat. She is content to sit for hours on a tower in the Catio and just observe…….getting her back inside her condo is sometimes a challenge but once you get to know her personality, you can figure it out. Tuna is not a cat who likes to be picked up and/or held, she's more of an independent adventurer who'll takes the time to come over, rub against your leg and say hello. If she's in the mood, you may give her a brief, gentle, light stroke down her back. Don't linger too long, she prefers to do the personal contact her way. You'll soon learn her likes and dislikes and when you do, you'll get along fine. Just remember, SHE is in charge. There is a lot of personality going on in Tuna, you just need to take the time and make the effort to get to know her. She'll probably do best in an adult only household as well, kids don't always pick up on the signals that cats give off when they don't want attention. There is a home and a person that's perfect for every cat, we just need to get the right match, for both parties. Tuna is a good girl with a strong personality. Some people find that intimidating, but they shouldn't. There is someone for everyone.
