At Spokane Humane Society, we face challenges head-on, and our recent journey with a litter of puppies diagnosed with parvovirus was no exception. We want to share this story with you, our community, to shed light on the resilience of these pups and the dedication of our team.
When the diagnosis came, easy would have been to give up or turn away. But instead, we united, implementing rigorous quarantine and isolation measures to contain the virus. Through weeks of round-the-clock care and veterinary support, teamwork, and dedication, we’re thrilled to announce that these resilient pups have triumphed over this illness and are now ready for their chance at a forever home.
Let’s meet the stars of the show, our resilient puppies:
Each of these pups has a unique personality and a lot of love to give. We believe they deserve the chance to thrive in a loving home, and we’re excited to help make that happen.
We understand there may be concerns, so we want you to know that the health and safety of both our animals and the community are our top priorities. We’re committed to education and ensuring adopters understand the importance of continued care post-adoption. These puppies will need to stay in their new homes for 4-6 weeks to prevent any potential spread of the virus.
Additionally, we’re seeking adopters with dogs over 1-year old, fully vaccinated, and without compromised immune systems. Homes with fenced areas are preferred, and communal dog areas should be avoided to minimize risks.
