Supernova Needs Your Help

Meet Supernova, a lovable 5-month-old pup with a spark that lights up every room and has been in our care for the past 4 months. Behind her bright eyes, however, Supernova is bravely fighting a rare and serious condition called persistent aortic arch. This anomaly has made it difficult for her to gain weight and has caused painful regurgitation, making every day a challenge for this sweet soul.

With the help of a dedicated foster and our clinic team, Supernova has come a long way. She worked so hard to gain weight through a PEG tube, and thanks to her resilience, she’s now eating on her own and able to keep food down. But her journey isn’t over yet. Supernova is scheduled for an assessment with the WSU veterinary team this month, and if she requires surgery from a board-certified surgeon, the costs could be as high as $10,000, which will deplete our STAR Fund.

We’re turning to our incredible community, knowing that together, we can give Supernova and other animals facing urgent medical needs a chance for a healthy, happy life. Every donation, no matter the size, brings her closer to the care she needs to thrive and shine as brightly as we know she can.

Please consider donating today to help Supernova and other animals in need have a future filled with love, health, and light.

Every donation counts! By giving today, you can help this little star shine bright again and provide our team the opportunity to help others in the future. spokanehumanesociety.org/star-fund
