Our Foster-to-Adopt program lets you take home a long-term animal for a short trial period to see if it’s the right fit—for both of you.
How it works
- Bring an eligible animal home for up to 14 days
- Get to know them in your space and routine
- Choose to adopt, or return them to our care
If it’s not the right fit, that’s okay—the time in your home helps us learn more about the animal so we can better match them with their future family. It also gives them a much-needed break from the shelter environment and a chance to decompress.
