Spokane Humane Society and PetSmart Charities invite the community to adopt pets in need of loving homes during PetSmart Charities National Adoption Week, October 19-25. A big thank you to AutoNation Subaru Spokane Valley and ASPCA for helping with adoption specials during the week!

PetSmart Charities National Adoption Week is a special time during the year. PetSmart partners with Spokane Humane Society featuring adoptable pets to meet in spacious areas, where staff and volunteers are on-hand to make introductions and answer questions. Potential pet parents can also learn about the products and services they’ll need for the best possible start with their new family members.

Some animals just need a little more time to find the right match.

Monday, adoption fees are waived for Spokane Humane Society cats and dogs who have been available for adoption for 14 days or longer.

No Tricks, Just Treats Tuesday

No tricks here, just a little something for those who do so much for our community.

Tuesday, frontline workers receive 50% off adoption fees at Spokane Humane Society.

This includes law enforcement, firefighters, EMTs and paramedics, medical professionals, nurses, doctors, military members, veterans and teachers.

Because sometimes one set of whiskers just isn’t enough.

Friday brings 50% off adoption fees for cats and dogs over 6 months of age.

They may be past the tiny puppy and kitten stage, but they have plenty of personality, fun, and surprises waiting for you.
